Return, Replacement & Refund Policy

Abhilao.com sells hardware, construction materials, tools, fittings, building products and related site essentials. Because these products can vary by size, weight, specification, quantity, customization and project requirements, return eligibility depends on the product and reason for the request.

A return or replacement may be approved when the wrong product was delivered, the product was damaged in transit, a verified manufacturing defect exists, the quantity delivered is short, or the product materially differs from the specifications displayed on Abhilao.com. Approval is subject to verification.

Please inspect the shipment at delivery. For visible or transit damage, keep the original packaging and contact Abhilao as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Clear photographs of the package, shipping label and damaged product may be required. An unboxing video is strongly recommended for high-value, fragile or bulky orders.

If you receive a product different from the one ordered, do not install, use, cut or modify it. Contact Abhilao with the order number, invoice and photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label. After verification, Abhilao may arrange a replacement or an eligible refund.

A product that is defective upon delivery should generally be reported within 7 days of delivery unless a different product-specific period applies. Depending on the issue, Abhilao may arrange replacement, repair, manufacturer warranty support or refund. Normal manufacturing tolerances and natural material variations are not necessarily defects.

If the quantity delivered is less than the quantity ordered or invoiced, report the shortage promptly, preferably within 48 hours. Abhilao may request photographs, delivery documents, weight information or other evidence. If the shortage is verified, Abhilao may supply the missing quantity or issue an appropriate partial refund.

If the delivered product materially differs from the listed size, model, material, grade, finish, colour, quantity or technical specification, contact Abhilao before installation or use. After verification, an appropriate replacement, return or refund may be provided.

A change-of-mind return is available only when the relevant product is expressly marked as returnable. Where permitted, the product must normally be unused, uninstalled, unmodified and in resaleable condition with original packaging and accessories. Applicable return, logistics, handling or restocking charges may apply where disclosed.

Products cut, drilled, fabricated, assembled, painted, customized, specially procured or manufactured according to customer specifications are generally not eligible for cancellation or return due to change of mind. This does not limit applicable rights where the product is defective, materially incorrect or fails to meet agreed specifications.

Heavy, bulky, fragile or project-specific materials may have special return conditions because reverse transportation, handling and storage can be substantial. Product-specific terms displayed before purchase will apply. Customers should verify dimensions, grade, quantity, compatibility and project requirements before ordering.

Bulk, commercial, institutional and project orders may be subject to specific cancellation, procurement, return and restocking conditions communicated at or before order confirmation. Specially procured materials may become non-cancellable once procurement or processing has started.

Customers may request cancellation before dispatch. Approval depends on order status, product type, procurement status and whether customization, fabrication, packing or shipment has started. Where an eligible cancellation is approved before dispatch, the applicable refund will normally be initiated to the original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible. If the product is returnable, the customer may request a return under this policy. Applicable reverse logistics, transportation, handling or restocking charges may apply where permitted and disclosed.

Customers should inspect products before installation, cutting, drilling, fabrication, painting, assembly or use. Products that have been installed, modified, fabricated, cut or damaged after delivery are generally not returnable unless the issue is covered by an applicable defect, warranty or statutory right.

Unless otherwise stated, products may be non-returnable when they are customized or cut-to-size, specially procured, installed or used, damaged after delivery through customer handling, missing essential components, exposed to improper storage conditions, sold as final sale, or otherwise identified as non-returnable on the product page.

A return request should include the order number, product name, delivery date, reason for the request and relevant photographs or video. Abhilao may verify the order, invoice, delivery record, product condition, packaging, specifications and seller or manufacturer information before approving a return, replacement or refund.

Where a replacement is approved, Abhilao will attempt to provide the same product subject to availability. If it is unavailable, Abhilao may offer an eqquivalent alternative with any applicable price adjustment or provide an eligible refund.

A refund may be issued for an approved return, eligible cancellation, verified wrong product, verified defect where replacement or repair is not appropriate, verified quantity shortage, inability to supply an ordered product, or another approved resolution. Refund eligibility is determined after applicable verification.

An eligible refund may include the product price and applicable taxes and delivery charges where required. Where legally permissible and disclosed, deductions may apply for return transportation, reverse logistics, restocking, handling, missing components, customer-caused damage or other customer-requested services.

Approved refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method. Cash-on-delivery customers may be asked for valid bank or payment details. After Abhilao initiates a refund, the time for the amount to appear depends on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider or other financial institution.

Where only part of an order is affected, a verified quantity shortage exists, or a customer agrees to retain a product with a minor issue, Abhilao may provide an appropriate partial refund instead of a complete return.

Some products are covered by manufacturer or brand warranties. Warranty claims may have separate periods, exclusions, installation requirements and service procedures. Abhilao may facilitate the claim where appropriate, but a manufacturer warranty is not necessarily a general return or refund Right.

Reasonable variations in dimensions, thickness, colour, texture, surface appearance, wood grain, finish and manufacturing batches may occur. Such variations are generally not defects when they remain within the manufacturers stated specifications or accepted tolerances.

Customers should not refuse delivery solely because they changed their mind. A refused shipment may be treated as return-to-origin and applicable logistics or handling costs may be deducted from an eligible refund where permitted. Product-specific exclusions may apply.

Where an order is fulfilled through an Abhilao dealer, distributor, franchise or dark store, the same customer-facing return process may apply, while internal settlement, inventory ownership and responsibility may be allocated between the relevant business partner and Abhilao. Customers will not be required to manage internal partner arrangements.

Abhilao may investigate suspicious or abusive return activity, including returning a different product, returning used goods as unused, falsifying damage, removing components, manipulating evidence, or returning products not purchased through Abhilao. Appropriate action may be taken subjecct to applicable law.

Please verify product dimensions, specifications, compatibility, grade, finish and quantity before ordering, especially for construction and project materials. Always inspect products before installation or modification. Abhilao generally cannot be responsible for labour, contractor, installation, dismantling or project-delay costs unless expressly agreed in writing.

Abhilao may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be published on Abhilao.com with an updated effective date. Subject to applicable law, the policy applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when the order was placed.
